What is it?

So you might be wondering what these 3 little pieces are. They are the result of putting a wet iphone in a bowl if dried rice. Seems that these little pieces can get into the phone jack and mess w/the sound! I had no idea since the ongoing suggestion is to put wry phones and such in dry uncooked rice to try and dry it out. Well I thought for sure my phone was ruined. Then my son checked it out for me to see what he could do. Reason being, it's messed up anyway so why not try? I'm so glad he did as he saved me a trip to the Apple store and alot of money. He was able to get them out! I could see these in the tiny hole, but thought they were some kind if moisture absorbing stuff inside the phone. Lesson learned? Keep iphone away from filled glasses and don't put iphone in rice if it gets wet even though that seems to be the most advised thing to do! My iphone us just fine! Thanks so much son!!
