The City isn't far.

From where this picture was taken, walk 20 mins north or drive less than five minutes by car and you can, on a clear day, see Wembley Stadium, the London Eye and Windsor in the distance.

You can see my little white cottage, nestled below the barn in the valley opposite the junction. I'm no landscape photographer and would love to portray this scene better. I regretted not having a shorter lens with me today when I saw the long shadows falling from the woods and the trees. How lucky I am to live in an area of outstanding natural beauty! I'm spoilt for superb views, walks and wildlife, yet the centre of the big smoke lies less than an hour away.
