Pitstone Windmill

The windmill at Pitstone is thought to be the oldest post mill in the country, dating from 1627 - or even earlier.

it is now owned by the National Trust, but was restored, and paid for by volunteers.

I had hoped to catch it at sunset, but another heavy rain shower arrived at just the wrong moment.
