A perfect day...

A simply perfect start to the holidays, starting with coffee in Kingsbridge with friends, followed by a train trip into Exeter to meet another friend for lunch and to swap Christmas presents. Finishing with a crisp walk around the fields and time to watch the Strictly finals whilst wrapping presents.

Meeting up with Claire in Exeter, time to mooch and enjoy.

The pub where we had lunch, it reminded me of the beer house I visited in Prague, a few winters ago. Long wooden tables, great atmosphere and 'proper' comfort food! Oh and not forgetting the mulled cider!
