Palace at Sunset

I was a little disappointed that I blipped Coco AGAIN! yesterday and decided that today I was going to get a proper photo. Fifty one images down loaded from the camera must mean I was trying.
This morning Ky and I ventured into town and finished our shopping for Christmas - all energy's now focused on Christmas food. We took Coco for a lovely long walk this afternoon, manged to get all 5 of us out - and once we actually got the children into the woods they had a fantastic time - Ky managed to forget that she wants to be a teenager and the 2 of them run about like a couple of draftees.
We dropped them at my mums to help her decorate her tree and they're going to stay there tonight so I'm wrapping presents and just got a wonderful surprise when I discovered that D has set the table beautifully and has made a start on dinner - I'll have do the actually cooking but don't mind, it was fantastic to be surprised.
On the way home from my mum's we were driving into this beautiful sunset, silhouetting the church and palace - D, surprising me again (twice in one day!) knew how important it was to me and pulled over. I ran across the road and back along the path to take this picture. A better picture would have been taken if I had climbed over the wall but although I had my wellies on, I was wearing a short skirt and it was a main road and now addicted to Blip but still a little self conscious when taking pictures.
