Long days

After working an extended day (what else is there to do when you're away from home in the middle of winter and you're staying at Fawlty Towers mk II) the last thing on earth that I needed was a packed pub. Unfortunately for me that is exactly what I got. The place was heaving so after standing around for ten minutes waiting for a table to come free so I could eat, I resorted to ordering a 'sharing platter' for two to eat stood at the bar.

Typically two minutes after my platter of revolting deep fried grot was served a table came free and I could sit down. Grrrr .... Not long till our jollies now though.
