Owl

This was sitting on my folks' mantlepiece when I went in past this evening.

My Mum had picked up a log to go on the fire and noticed an owl looking back at her. They cut off the rest of the log and kept it. I think it's great, just a random, wee, natural phenomenon.

Spent the rest of the evening with Big Sis going round some local shops who had got together to put on a Festive Shopping Night.

Was a lovely way to spend mad Friday - doing a bit of shopping, chatting to local business owners, enjoying a bit of mulled wine, mince pies and a hot dog!

So if you're in Aberdeen head down to Chattan Place/Claremont Street and visit the shops. They all have lovely owners who deserve your custom :)
