There were about five Reindeer in an enclosure on Princes St earlier, they all looked about as happy as this chap does. Didn't make me feel Christmassy, just quite sad! Poor things.

Had my volunteer Christmas lunch today at Amarone, even though I don't actually volunteer anymore! I think they think that I haven't so much left as just taking a prolonged break.... It may turn out to be true, I have problems saying no! Very good of them to invite me and it was a lovely lunch, when I'm feeling a bit better again I'll go back to volunteering and be just as dosey and ineffective as I was before ;)
