Getting around

The eagle-eyed among you will see that I've been finding my way around the city. I'm staying at my aunt's apartment in an area that seems to be miles out to the east of the city but probably isn't that far if you know where you're going. It makes getting into town a bit hit and miss, especially if you don't check with a local and find that you're on the wrong side of the street. Thankfully, someone put me right. They also have proper trams and a proper underground system.

What they don't have is much in the way of pubs. I did see a couple of theme Oirish places at the bottom of Yonge Street but that's nowhere near where we (my brother and I) were trudging today. Bars were nowhere to be found.
