A very sad day

This mug was waiting for me on the shelf in the kitchen when I first came home from the hospital with Isobel.

Every time I had a cup of tea in it it made me smile because it reminded me how happy I am to be a mum, and it reminded me of the moment I came home with her.

I cried several times after I broke it. I am most upset. She's already so much bigger than she was when I brought her home, and that mug gave me a lovely clear image of that time when she was so new :-(
