Weetslade#9
Today I feel a bit flat, two of my friends have had some terrible news.
One lost her Dad a few days ago and most devastating for me, was my friend Michelle was diagnosed with breast cancer a few weeks ago and has had to have a mastectomy, she starts her chemo next week. Now I don't get upset easily having seen, heard and dealt with all manner of horrific events in my employment, but I have to admit to shedding a tear for Mish. She became a mother last year and has a lovely little girl called Ruby. I've been chatting with her tonight and she seems to be very philosophical about it, she has a very strong minded Husband, Andy, he is a nuggety Yorkshire man who will get her through this I'm sure.
Tonight's blip is in Weetslade again on top of the old pit heap. I had a go at painting with a torch and got some reasonable photos bit this I liked the most, of course it's had the Brian treatment and when I finished I could see there were stars and an aircraft trail. It's taken looking east towards onemanfourcatsandnowonedogs territory.
I'm late shift over the weekend so it'll be an early blip tomorrow, I'm hoping for snow.
