Who lives in a house like this?

Had a look round the recently-refurbished Dunbar Town House.

Inside, they've changed the layout a lot, and it was impossible to visualise the cramped little room where we'd registered Andrew's birth - which was the last occasion I'd been in there.

In a grand room upstairs with pictures of past Provosts on the walls, this lion-and-unicorn panel faces a similar - but slightly different - one at the opposite end of the room. Apparently both used to have a pair of curtains in front, and depending on who the visitor was, one panel would stay curtained off, while the appropriate panel would be revealed.

No idea why, though.
