Entrepreneurialism

I once did a course on Urban Geography and was fascinated by the concept of entrepreneurialism, if only because the word was so utterly unpronounceable. Today I went to the Chamber of Commerce to do a seminar on how to become an entrepreneur. Yes, somewhere in the next couple of weeks I will be an independent researcher, writer, editor; depending on my customers of course...

It's quite exciting, but today it was almost like I was walking on holy ground. The Rotterdam Chamber of Commerce was very important for the city and its rebuilding during World War II, which gives the institute somewhat of an aura. (The statue in this photo is the WWII memorial).

If one city is an entrepreneurial city, it's Rotterdam. A good place to start your own business.
