End of year work load........

The work load in the run up to the Christmas holiday is always extreme........

This year seems to be the worst i've been involved with in the 40 years i've been in engineering.

What's happened this year, is the majority of our machinist haven't bothered with a summer vacation, and as they can't carry any holidays over into the following year, it's a case of use ot or lose it.

Consequently, the majority of our machinists are already on holiday and won't be back until the New Year........

For the few of us who will be working up until Christmas eve it means extreme work loads.........

I had thought that as i creep up towards retirement age i'd be able to take my foot off the gas a little.........Instead i come home from work well and truly wacked.........

I sadly don't have the time to walk to either the moat, creek or harbour, so i'm afraid it's the Hyper Squirrel again........view of a larger hyper squirrel.....

It's Bev's company's Christmas bash on Saturday night, we're going bowling followed by a meal at "Las Iguanas".............Really looking forward to that.....
