Otira gorge

This is the river that runs from Arthur's Pass to Otira at the side of the road, it's a lovely blue color and looks really inviting.

We left a wet and miserable Christchurch and as we climbed into Porters Pass the rain dried up, by the time we got to the West Coast it was brighter and dry.

This weekend the plan is to build a BBQ area and spread about 10 Tonnes of gravel.
