Hare's tail grass in the wind
Wild windy wet weather today, summer has deserted us.
Poor people in Nelson with the flooding and slips, and in Kaeo too, as if they didn't have enough to deal with with the town's only industry closing down.
This is hare's tail grass, comes from the Mediterranean area and is now spread round the world, becoming a weed in many places.
Blowing in the wind, so less than sharp, but surprisingly pretty when wet!
