Just another day at the office
and another mini-protest from the "we are the 99%" movement, this time about human rights in El Salvador and a gold mining company there.
The group was peaceful and duly delivered a letter outlining its case to our civil society rep for the attention of the president of my organization.
I enjoy (no offense intended towards these groups) seeing who protests outside our doors and what cause they support; sometimes they are on point; at other times, I wonder who did their research. The best attention getter yet was a group of students who lined up and mooned us all at the same time; even the cops in riot gear had to smile... (didn't have my camera with me at that time... darn, would've been the best blip yet!) :)
