It's not often that I walk down Rose Street after it gets dark, but every time I do, I can't help but look up at the lights with a childish smile on my face. I love the lights, they're so pretty.
I feel it's worth mentioning that seeing as how I was walking down Rose Street, I ducked into the new Primark to check it out. I was quite impressed; it doesn't look cheap like most other Primarks do, nor was it heaving, as most other Primarks are. Point of the story though is that I got new Snoopy pj's... so cute and comfortable!

Today went relatively fast at work; always good. The law firm that I work for moved to its current office 10 years ago today, so that was reason enough for cake! December is a great month, it seems - there are about 5 birthdays (6 if you include the business) all spaced out nice and evenly so it averages out to at least one cake run per week. Not bad at all!! -- except that the same shirt I wore last week seemed a little tighter this morning. I guess I shouldn't be too disheartened - Christmas is a time for good eatin'!

We have our work Christmas Party tomorrow night, which is something I've been looking forward to all week. We finish up at 12.30pm and then head off for some lunch and then some drinking and dancing till the wee hours of the morning (not that I can, or even like to dance). I must remember to space out my glasses of wine so that I'm not at home and in bed by 8pm!

No promises of a blip tomorrow - I won't be taking my camera with me, on the off chance that it may get drunkenly dropped or something equally as devastating.. I'm not willing to take that risk! I shall have to hunt around for my wee camera and take that along I think.

Off to enjoy a bubble bath :)
