Improvisation

The roof saga continues. There was so much water coming into the bucket that we had to empty it every hour so that meant we would have to get up during the night but Don came in with this piece of guttering and tied it to two screws on the light and put the other end in the washhand basin ( we have washhand basins in the rooms as I used to do B & B) . The water could then drain away on its own. We got the roof fixed today but discovered that the tiles had punctured two holes on the flat room extension so that is how the water is getting in. We will now have to contact another builder who does flat roofs.
