Old Time

Even thkough I am now officially on holiday unitl the 9th January, I have been quite busy. I started off my day with a short hike with my pup. Upon our return, I cleaned the interior of my car (I haven't cleaned it in three months) and then cleaned myself (by that point I had smelled as bad as the inside of my car before cleaning it). Afterwards, I drove my car to Les Schwab where I had an appointment for an allignment, battery check, and tire rotation. Two hours later I returned to pick-up my car and purchase snow chains.

All this was in preparation for the drive to my uncle's cabin tomorrow. I'll spend 4 days up the McKenzie River with no radio, television, internet or phone. For me this is heaven. Outside of helping my uncle around the cabin, I'm planning a hike at a few of my favourite trails while they are still accessible.

So busy was I rambling about my plans, I forgot to tell you about my blip. Well, I don't have much to tell you about it. I found the building with the water tower interesting. I know grain used to be processed at this mill, but know nothing else about it.
