This Old Boot.....

.....hung from our very 1st Christmas tree.....or at least the very 1st Christmas tree I can remember.

It has survived in a box with a few other decorations from the same era.
To think that it is almost as ancient as I am brings a tear to my eye haha ;)

Here's to many more years upon the tree!
