Recreational Reservoir, Delph Lane, Winwick

Excavated by the New Town Development Corporation as a water resort in the 70's it wouldn't hold water. Now it does! It attracts quite a few birds. It had a large population of ruddy ducks until the cull a couple of years ago. The M6 is in the background.
