Playing Hookey

You'll find (if you take a good look)
That above the street dangles this hook.
It's attached to a crane
By means of a chain.
But these days it seems to be stuck.

I liked the silhouette effect of this, which I took on Cross St, Islington, a few seconds walk from Friday's clothes peg wreath. Depending on your accent, the last rhyme is either just fine or a load of nonsense (it works for me).
