Renfrewshire isn't all soft pastoral landscape. So to Muirshiel today, our own little bit of wilderness. Short squally bursts of weather kept certain parties inside the car with the Guardian for company, while the blipper went snapping between showers. Looking up proved best - the wonder of the sky reflecting the short bursts of storm and sunshine.

And, as the vicar said 'Isn't life a little bit like that?'
