A Game of Swans

Just as I pulled up and Maggie jumped out, most of the geese took off as did about one third of the swans. It is not too often that we see so many swans all together in the wild. Maybe it is on account of the rain & wind overnight and the very swollen rivers. Whatever, I had to try and get some sort of image for the days events.
Just off the little road between Kippen and Thornhill is an interesting area of "The Carse" which has been encouraged to return to its original state and is a great habitat for wildlife of all shapes & sizes. Well worth a visit if you are passing (and the weather is decent!)
