Glowing

The street was glowing with these lanterns, which made walking through the market underneath even more fun.

I don't know what the occasion is...maybe left over from the King's birthday? Millions of white "Christmas lights" are strung over trees in parks throughout the city and along the road around the Grand Palace in his honor. If one didn't know better, one would think the decorations are for Christmas. (But don't be fooled!)
