Looking Out

I am sure today was not supposed to be as wet as it was.
A Xmas luncheon was organised for 'The Girls' at Riccarton House.
The House is still closed with earthquake damage, and a marque has been erected on the grounds, so they can continue with their restaurant. It was not a day for sitting outside, and this photo is taken through the plastic windows of the marque -looking out at a replica of the very first cottage to be built in Canterbury by the Deans -history about it here.

I have since been told by Imagehunter that the house is the original one and not a replica - that is amazing.
