Last line of defence

Jason had a cold and passed it on to Marc. The poor wee man is a snot machine and isn't eating much but, other than that, he's his happy, giggly self. But Marc has now passed his cold on to Karen, which is the last thing she needs right now.

So far, I'm the only one who hasn't been hit with the cold. I'm a freelancer and I'm not missing a day at work for a stupid cold. I don't fancy suffering at my desk either, so it's out with the First Defence to make a series of pre-emotive strikes and hopefully avoid getting my share altogether.
