Birthday treat

It was my husband's birthday today, so we both had the day off and went to Oxford.

I was looking forward to lots of blip opportunities but:
a) there wasn't much power in the battery
b) it was cold
c) it was wet

So here you go, this is the ceiling of the Divnity School in the Bodleian Libray and this is the Convocation House.

The lady that took us on the guided tour was very informative and the warmth of the building was most welcome, although it would not have been so when it was first built, as no naked flames were allowed in the building because of the priceless books housed in the library above. The library is stunning but photographs were not permitted.

Other than the cold, the rain and the occasional sleet we had a good day.
