Homeward Bound
I couldn't resist this shot as I was walking down David Street in the old city of Jerusalem, headed for the Western Wall for some good photography there. But the walk down was so cluttered with great images it took me a long time to get to the wall. As usual there were great shots there as well so my bag is full but wanted to share this precious little girl on her way home from school on these busy streets.
Jerusalem's old city is awash with great photo opportunities if one will take the time and effort as lots of the Arab population in this old city do not take kindly to having their pictures taken. Tourists are forever grabbing photos and the shop keepers have few sales to show for all the people that pass by.
I love the atmosphere but get here only on rare occasions.
To think that the son of God actually walked these streets. I am sure the merchandise then was quite different than it is today.
