Neat Pile

We arrived home from work today to find that, after a several months, our local council had got around to cutting down a tree that had been uprooted in a big storm and had been leaning across our little road at an angle of 60 degrees. It would have eventually blocked the road and/or brought down power lines in the street. Now things are much safer and access is easier. These neat stacks of timber are the remains.
