Virgin de Guadalupe Shrines

The processions have ended and the shrines are all placed side by side around the church's courtyard. There must be close to 75. Some are very elaborate, some quite simple. Most use real flowers, with many of the early arrivals starting to shrivel due to the daytime heat. We visited early, before the crowds arrived, yet there were still a number of people viewing the colorful shrines, like my wife here in the midst of some later arrivals.
