Detached from Bangalore

My first full day in Bangalore was rounded off nicely with a lovely meal and some drinkies in a rooftop restaurant called The 13th Floor.

Although the food was superb and good value for money - and the views amazing - I am not so sure that being detached from the grittiness and atmosphere of the streets is necessarily a good thing.

As I mentioned in yesterday's Blip, the chaotic charm of Bangalore is something I have not experienced before, but am now finding quite hypnotic to witness. So when I do get the chance to escape the conference rooms, I look forward to being driven around the city.

With this in mind, I shall resolve to blip from the street tomorrow. (I know I probably sound like some patronising Western fool, but I am genuinely excited).
