Dads and Daughters ......

..... promises, pots of gold, Judy Garland, Ursula Brangwen, Greenpeace....... I know there's a scientific explanation for rainbows which Professor Lovely could probably give me but really I don't care. He wouldn't be able to explain why rainbows symbolise all these things for me.

I found it so hard to move away from the open bedroom window this morning as these two rainbows developed into full arches against a dark purple sky on one side, with sunlight streaming from the other.

I took 18 shots and I'm saving them all in a slideshow in case I ever forget mystery.

This is my favourite shot; might be the 'best'; might not!
