The OU Cedar Tree Sculpture

Or rather the bench next to it.

This 250 year old tree died due to an infestation of Small Cedar Aphid and was turned into a sculpture by Tom Harvey in 2010.

Having driven up from East Susex this morning I found myself on the Open University Campus thinking of today's picture: the traffic on the A1(M), my desk (sad) or an AV studio with three cameras in it?

All part of my day, but this rabbit on the bench made from a huge log that formed part of the original tree is what appealed.
