Christmas Ball!

Only seem to have photos of before the event...must have been having too much of a good time!
Here is Meg and Laura all dressed up and ready to go!
Went to the University Carol service and had a nice wee sing-song before getting the bus to Kinkell Byre which was the ball venue. It was decorated really beautifully with upside down Christmas trees and general festive features. The music was better than previous balls, with a live band playing swingy/jazzy sort of music that meant we got really into our dancing. Had the obligatory Janetta's ice cream and had a bit of a mingle.
Was amazed however at just how drunk people were, especially when we just arrived. There is a difference between joyfully tipsy and unable to stand up anymore. Very sad considering we are supposed to be a bunch of rather well educated people.
Despite that, was one of the better balls and thanks to the girls for making it a lovely night :)
