In the dark street again

It's only ten days until the shortest day and this is the most sunlight this narrow street gets at midday today. I've blipped it before - here - but it always surprises me how appropriate its name, Carrieira Escura (Dark Street), is at this time of year. I'm glad we live in the small place where the street opens out to give us a lot of afternoon sun.

In spite of the tempting sunshine outside, I have a lot of work to do today to make up for taking time off last week and to go to the last Occitan class of the term this evening.
