A Beautiful Life

Village People

Walking around downtown on my lunch break. I saw construction workers, police men, army dudes, etc. It felt like Broadway was going to bust out the YMCA at any moment. The second I thought that...I walked right past the YMCA. Hilarious.

Young man, there's no need to feel down.
I said, young man, pick yourself off the ground.
I said, young man, 'cause you're in a new town
There's no need to be unhappy.

In other news...my baby girl was spayed today. Yes, I did the right thing...even though I think it's RIDICULOUS. She did very well, and is recovering nicely. Still, I felt so bad for her, and I felt like she was in so much pain, as the surgeon didn't give her any post-op pain meds. So, I called my vet around 9pm and they offered to help her out if I could bring her in. So I bundled her up in some blankets and carried her to the vet - as I don't drive. Luckily, it was right down the street. They hooked my baby up with some doggy vicodin, and she's on her way to a painless recovery. <3

Thanks to my babe for taking good care of my Lily while I was at work. Love that man.
