Let the nostalgia begin!

The tree is now in situ but I am not decorating till the end of the week. However, I couldn't resist putting these 4 on as a start. Whenever we go away I always try to bring an ornament back and there is quite a collection now. The 2 baubles were bought in India in February and the little knitted figures were made by a lovely Norwegian lady in the group. We got on very well with her and her husband. She knitted at every opportunity and at the end of the trip gave everyone a little doll. Of course all decorations had been put away by then but these were to hand this morning, stored in a handy drawer. When I am putting the tree ornaments in position I am reminded of wonderful places and some very dear friends.
Cold and very wet this morning. My Intermittently Blipping neighbour is coming round shortly for tea or perhaps a 'wee dram', we'll see.
