Another Why Did I Start That Moment

The recipe said 3/4 cups of water.
I took that to mean approximately 3 or 4.
I think it actually meant 0.75% of a cup.
Sticky salt dough and the entire house covered in a layer of flour.

Why.

Why.

Then why did I not learn, and go on to move every single piece of furniture in the front room - including dismantling the pc and stereo - and then spend hours making paper chains, long after the kids had given up.
