White Rose

When we went to bed last night at midnight...it was 11 degrees outside. My dogs start rebelling when it gets below 15. When we got up this morning it had climbed to 13. It is now 25, but sunny, and that will be the high of the day.

My kitchen looks like either a funeral home, or a florists shop. I think we have 11-12 plants from the service. Good smells. But...the question is...do I take a walk outside for a picture, or do I take a picture from the warmth of my house?

Some of you never have to worry about condensation. This time of year...around here...it is tough on a camera to use it among such flucuating temperatures. Sometimes it gets condensation on the glass parts, and it ruins the camera. You have to be real careful about hot and cold.

There. I talked myself right out of going outside. Decision made. The white rose it is.

We are watching the grandson for a few hours. Right at this moment...he is not being so grand. They get to that age where they decide they don't need a nap, but gram and gramps think otherwise. Maybe it's time for Grandpa to go upstairs, and have a few gentle words with the lad. A little heart-to-heart, a little man-to-baby. Ooops...it looks like grandma beat me to it. Blip Central saves me again. That makes us even after she missed the messy diaper this morning.

Full moon tonight. I'm a-gettin ready to howl.
