the goose ......run-up to Christmas 12....

...is getting FAT...and he knows it...

cold day...first black ice of the year....we went for a walk at Ellesmere Lake...the geese were very noisy....maybe they sense Christmas is coming...if not for them...for quite a few of their family members.....

we saw lots of cormorants on Heron island.....the herons will return late january.....
