Moonlit Morning - with a bit of light pollution...
Okay, can anyone explain why all these lights are needed at 0500hrs? And can anyone explain why they light the sky more than they light anything else?
I went out for a few long exposure shots of the Cumbrian Fells in the moonlight, but the glare from Penrith was terrible really, and whilst the effect is quite good as a photograph it really is a waste of energy and destroys the possibility of enjoying the night sky for so many people.
Not sure what those lights are in front of the cloud, I think they could be some sort of reflections from the factory lights, but I don't know why they did not show up in any other image.
