Radiant Robin

I was out in the garden this morning trying (and failing) to get some good shots of the garden birds. There has been a lot more of them visiting the garden notably Chaffinches, Collared Doves and Woodpigeons. I've been scattering sunflower seeds all over the place including on a fallen log near the border so the ground feeding birds can forage happily while the others eat from the feeder. As usual my presence scared most of them away as soon as I'm halfway down the garden and you need a lot of patience to stand and try and get a good close-up when a bird does eventually find the lure of food too great. Don't want to disturb them too much though as if I stand too long I'm preventing them from feeding and they need all the daylight hours they can get to gobble food and regain energy (especially from the catastrophic wind we had yesterday). Robin as ever posed very nicely for me :)

Went to see Puss in Boots at the cinema in Dundee tonight with my boyfriend Andy and it was fab just as good as the original Shrek movies. I'm not used to going to the cinema but now I'm starting to see the value of it, the high definition screen was superb (you could see every strand of fur on Puss's face lol).
