Distracting techniques...
So, the story goes...when Rags was poorly he made rather a mess in his bed. So I binned it all and he has been sleeping on blankets whilst he's been ill. Tonight I decided to pop to Cobbs and buy him a new bed...and a few little treat biscuits. I got home from training and swopped his blankets for a little teeny tartan bed. He was very impressed. So, the three of them had tea and I went for a shower.
Ten minutes later...Rags crying...Pippa is in his new basket. I shoo her out...she has an awesome bed already! Five minutes later...crying...she is back in it...more shooing. Five more minutes...crying...Lottie is in it...shoo shoo shoo...and so the cycle continued. Meanwhile, Rags just sat on the cold sunroom tiled floor and cries as he watches them arse about in his bed!
And so, Rags is currently in his new basket. In the house. In front of the fire. LOVING IT! The girls are out in the sunroom, chewing these hide chews and wonder what is behind the closed door that Rags has been allowed to pass through!! He is one contented little boy!
Tomorrow we are meeting Grandad so that Rags can go and stay for Christmas. I'm very pleased he will have a happy time but I'm rather concerned by his inevitably expanding waistline that will be the result of his stay!!!
