The Boss

'I am the boss in this house and I have my wife's permission to say so'.

This is a tankard that was displayed in my Mum's china cabinet. I very rarely saw my Dad drink from it. He did occasionally, though, and they both had a good laugh about it.

It's now in a still often viewed position on the top of the fridge freezer and it holds the pens for writing our shopping lists. An heirloom indeed. :)
