Sun setting over snow

By degrees the temperature rose above freezing- one or two at the most-for the day was a cold one.

The sun's rays filtered through after early snowfalls cloaked the landscape, to warm the air by another degree. It stayed to light the end of the day in brilliance.

Reflections on the water brightened the evening before the sun disappeared leaving snow clad hills to begin their evening glisten.
