Railway Children
It was my last day in Bangkok and I had no access to money thanks to LTSB. With what cash I had left I decided to head to a spot I pass regularly when heading into the Old City; an intersection at the bottom of Thanon Phitsanulok. It's an interesting place, a clash of rich and poor, and differences in development and poor infrastructure. There is hoards of cars and buses, but to the side an old crippled lady pushes her life in a trolley, fancy new Toyota and Lexis cars roar past, but if you look a little closer you find families and kids living in slums by the railway.
There wasn't as many people hanging around today, usually a lot of life when I drive past. But I saw this kid and, I'm guessing, his Mother sitting by the tracks where trains shoot by every 10minutes. I don't think they were rich.
