Touchdown

A blown about blip today of the end of the runway at Sumburgh Aitport. Managed back from Inverness after an hours delay and apparently we had a full emergency landing with fire engines the lot on standby. Something to do with the autopilot apparently and with the strong winds probably not the best thing to happen. And for those who know Sumburgh we had to come in over the lighthouse which is unusual.

You know it's windy when you can see the white streaks of the sea from 15,000 feet.

Not been a good year for the Carbon Footprint with 45 take-offs and landings.
