Lantern light

The illuminated lantern if St Nicholas Cathedral, Newcastle, lit up courtesy of the full moon and the Fenwick family.

It was a busy day, culminating in a lovely carol concert in a beautiful setting. Choral singing in cathedrals is amazing.

I missed the worst if the weather, although I nearly got blown over by the gale force gusts on the way to the Cathedral. The train was 25 minutes late (and Newcastle station must be one of the coldest in the country) and couldn't get as far as Glasgow, as lines were down in Motherwell, but my roof is still here.
